TEACHER: While I was visiting a friend in Riyadh last wee;, I went to the King Abdul Aziz museum. Has anybody else been there?
بينما كنت في زيارة لصديق لي في الرياض الأسبوع الماضي، ذهبت إلى متحف الملك عبدالعزيز. هل زاره أحد منكم؟

MARK: yes. Sir. I have.
نعم

TEACHER: good Mark. What did you like best about it?
رائع مارك، ما هو أفضل شيء أعجبك؟

MARK: The King's car, I think. There were two on display.
أعتقد سيارة الملك. كانت هناك اثنتان للعرض

TEACHER: Aha. Did you find out anything about King's character?
هل عرفت شيئاً آخراً عن شخصية الملك؟

MARK: Yes, a lot

TEACHER: O.K. Can you tell the class about him?
حسناً مارك. أخبر الفصل عنه

MARK: Well, he loved to read the Qur'an, he was generous and strong, and he was very fond of his large family, his children and grandchildren
حسناً، هو يحب قراءة القرآن. وكان كريماً وقوياً وفخوراً بعائلته وأبنائه وأحفاده.

TEACHER: Did you learn about his daily schedule?
هل علمت بشيء عن جدوله اليومي؟

MARK: No, sir.

TEACHER: Well, it's very interesting. I'll tell you. He always got up at 4.30, read the Qur'an and performed the morning prayer. Then he held a morning majlis, where he met important visitors and any who had problems.
حسناً، سأخبركم. كان دائماً يستيقظ عند الساعة 4:30 ومن ثم يقرأ القرآن ويصلى الفجر. وبعدها يتولى مجلس الصباح، المكان الذي يلتقي به الزوار المهمون وبمن لديه مشاكل.

MARK: What's majlis in English?
ماذا تعني المجلس في اللغة الإنجليزية؟

TEACHER: It's a meeting with the king which is open to everyone. In the afternoon, he held another majlis and then he went on a drive around the outskirts of Riyadh. In the evening, he held his third majlis of the day. He usually went to bed around midnight.
اجتماع الملك والذي يكون مفتوحاً للجميع. ولديه مجلساً آخراً في الظهر ومن بعده يذهب بجولة حول ضواحي الرياض. وفي المساء يعقد المجلس الثالث. وعادة يخلد للنوم في منتصف الليل.
