Definition:
To walk slowly and casually

Etymology:
This word is cowboy slang that is still used to day. It is derived from an old British expression 'mose about', which meant 'to walk with a slouch'.

Definition: To find or catch someone doing something wrong.
Example:
1)
Jimmy's father nailed him smoking cigarettes.
2)
After three years of counterfeiting treasury bonds, the FBI nailed the crime ring.

Etymology:
A 'nail' is a small piece of ****l that holds two pieces of wood together. When you get nailed, you and the thing you did wrong are attached together, for everyone to see.

An overly intellectual person with poor social skills; an unfashionable and unpopular person.
Example:

I like Stephan, even though he is a bit of a nerd.
Etymology:
The word comes from a children's book written by Dr. Seuss.
