Some common mistakes in usage of English langauge

أقدم لكم بعض الأخطاء الشائعة في اللغة الانجليزية بسبب التأثر باللغة العربية أو عدم توظيف الكلمة بالشكل الصحيح

Don't say: Ghareeb is afraid from the dog.
Say: Ghreeb is afraid of the dog.

Don't say: I congratulate you for success.
Say: I congratulate you on success.

Don't say: He failed from math last term.
Say: He failed in math last term

Don't say: He died from cancer.
Say: He died of cancer.

Don't say: I will write to him a letter tomorrow.
Say: I will write him a letter
هنا يحذف حرف الجر في حالة ذكر المفعول المباشر للفعل

Don't say: I search for a word in a dictionary.
Say: I look a word up in a dictionary.

Don't say: I came here for learn English.
Say: I came here to learn English.

Don't say: I go to home
Say: I go home

Don't say: Ishraq explained me the issue.
Say: Ishraq explained the issue to me.

Don't say: I don't think.
Say: I don't think so.
في الجملة الأولى تعني لا أفكر والجملة الثانية تعني لا أعتقد ذلك

Don't say: I went to Ahssa in Saturday.
Say: I went to Ahssa on Saturday.
يستخدم مع الأيام on

Don't say: I talked to Mjnon by a telephone.
Say: I talked to Mjnon by telephone.

Don't say: Rahik speaks English very good.
Say: Rahik speaks English very well.

أو

Say: Rahik speaks very good English.
لأن good صفة ولا تحل محل الحال

Say: I went to Ahssa on Saturday. يستخدم مع الأيام on Don't say: I talked to Mjnon by a telephone. Say: I talked to Mjnon by telephone. Don't say: Rahik speaks English very good. Say: Rahik speaks English very well. أو Say: Rahik speaks very good English. لأن good صفة ولا تحل محل الحال توقيع إشراق : الأندية غير الناجحة أمامها حل من اثنين إما الاعتراف بتفوق الهلال والعمل على منافسته وهذا عمل صعب. أو اختيار الحل الأسهل: المكابرة والتشكيك في إنجازات الأندية الناجحة مثل الهلال ..!
